Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Consultant to join our team and drive the development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS , container orchestration , real-time data streaming , and robust monitoring/logging systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across our platform. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2 , S3 , RDS , VPC , and DMS . Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes . Manage Kafka clusters and implement event-driven or real-time data streaming solutions. Set up, configure, and maintain monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus , Grafana , and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and deployment speed. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience with AWS services , especially RDS , DMS , EC2, IAM, VPC, etc. Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in a production environment. Expertise in setting up and managing monitoring/logging stacks : Prometheus , Grafana , and ELK . Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar). Familiar with GitOps and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc. Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer) Experience with security best practices in cloud environments Familiarity with cost optimization and high-availability design patterns Prior experience with large-scale system migrations or hybrid cloud environments
