DevOps Lead/Manager

Job description We are looking for a highly skilled Team Lead DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Terraform, AWS, GitLab pipelines, and Cloud Cost Optimization. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to drive automation, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and efficient cloud cost management. POSITION SCOPE: Develop and maintain scalable and automated cloud infrastructure using AWS. Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices. Design and implement effective cloud security strategies and operations to protect data and maintain compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess functional needs and translate them into robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and enhancements, and advocate for the adoption of new technologies that will benefit the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues across multiple domains and platforms. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. Proficient with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, and IAM. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. Deep understanding of network architectures and cloud security protocols. Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate is desirable. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in managing technical teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
