Key responsibilities:
- Build cloud native solutions and work as an SME for AWS solutions
- Provide consultancy and support in CI/CD
- Analyze new functional, technical as well as non-functional requirements to find the most appropriate technical solution contributing to the overall system design
- Provide different solution options and define pros and cons based on driving forces from a commercial, operational and technology viewpoint
- Working with the relevant Lead Solutions Designer and Chief Technology Office, supports the creation of an appropriate IT strategy for the relevant business area
Basic Qualifications
- Substantial experience creating fit for purpose technology solutions which meet business needs, deliver within reasonable constraints and correspond to organizational strategic guidance
- Experience of application integration and implementation issues and their architectural implications. Good understanding of best practice design methods with proven innovative and leading-edge thinking
- Drive improvements to stability and supportability
- Good knowledge and experience of End-To-End CI/CD process and creating deployment jobs to cater the Project requirements.
- Support development teams adoption of devops ecosystem as per established standards, and CICD pipeline strategy
- Good collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Open to work in UK Shift (10 Am to 9 Pm IST with 8 hours of productive work)
Skills Required
- Good knowledge and experience with Jenkins, JIRA, Docker, Containers and its orchestration
- Substantial experience on build tools Maven, Gradle, Prisma Scan, SonarQube, Veracode to manage artifacts, vulnerabilities, compliances.
- Good knowledge of Python and micro services, Chef, Unix/bash, groovy, Jenkins
- Worked on Automation IAC (Infrastructure AS Code) - CloudFormation Templates / Terraform.
- Hands on experience of using AWS Services, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, Service Catalog, Cloud formation, Security groups, NACLs, API Gateway, RDS, Dynamo DB, System manager, SSM parameters, Secret manager, Cloud Watch, Cloud formation, Kinesis.
- Basics of Kubernetes
- Proven experience in problem solving, and event-driven microservices architectures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of IT Security patterns, considerations and best practices
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and help the team on AWS expertise
- Willingness to expand on AWS knowledge
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent professional qualification
