DevOps Engineer with Developer Experience (Python / GoLang)

Job Summary:

Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure (on-premise or cloud).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like

  GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD

  , etc.
• Write infrastructure-as-code using

  Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools

  .
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, etc).
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve development workflows using

  Python or GoLang

  .
• Collaborate with development teams to improve developer experience, tooling, and build/deployment strategies.
• Implement containerization using

  Docker

  and orchestrate using

  Kubernetes

  (EKS, AKS, GKE, etc).
• Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and pipelines (Secrets Management, IAM, Vulnerability Scanning).
• Own and optimize cloud resources (AWS/GCP/Azure) for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system uptime and reliability (On-call may be required).
• Contribute to DevOps best practices and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in

  DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering

  .
• Strong programming/scripting skills in

  Python and/or GoLang

  (must have).
• Deep experience with

  CI/CD

  tools and pipeline design.
• Expertise in

  Cloud Platforms

  : AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure.
• Strong experience with

  Kubernetes

  (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on experience with

  Terraform, Ansible, Helm

  , etc.
• Strong understanding of

  Linux systems

  , networking, and system architecture.
• Experience with

  GitOps

  and

  Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

  .
• Experience with

  Monitoring and Observability

  tools.
• Solid understanding of

  DevSecOps

  and best practices in secure DevOps workflows.
