Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, hands-on expertise with tools and technologies such as GitHub Actions, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Kubernetes, Docker, HELM, Shell Scripting, and Linux. This role involves automating, monitoring, and optimizing the development and deployment processes to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and HELM for scalable and efficient deployment. Operate and manage environments in the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating system tasks and processes. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, ensuring system reliability and scalability. Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the application lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for efficient knowledge sharing. Required Skills and Qualifications: 6 to 10 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related roles. Strong expertise in GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation. Hands-on experience with OCP, Kubernetes, and Docker. Proficiency in HELM for managing Kubernetes applications. Advanced skills in shell scripting and Linux system administration. Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles. Knowledge of monitoring tools and logging systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with additional scripting languages like Python or Groovy. Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or related DevOps certifications.
