DevOps Engineer Required Qualification and Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience of working on AWS, DevOps concepts, shell scripts Strong in programming with Java, Python, Ruby, Bash Unix/Linux systems knowledge/administration background Strong knowledge about software configuration management tools (GIT, SVN, CodeCommit) Knowledge about Jenkins Knowledge of most of these: data structures, relational and non-relational databases, networking, Linux internals, filesystems, web architecture, and related topics Experience in automation of the deployment and configuration of the virtualized infrastructure Strong understanding of Cloud computing concepts and PaaS/SaaS/IaaS technologies, especially on AWS concepts Exposure to Agile development and experience in user story development, estimation, sprint planning and mentoring agile development teams Ability to mentor the teams technically Strong investigation, analytical and problem solving skills Must be capable of decomposing complex problems Must be familiar with the product creation process Must have deep appreciation of software engineering principles Must be articulative and collaborative Responsibilities : Provide software delivery operations and application release management support, including coding and scripting, automated build and deployment processing, agile deployment, and process reengineering Perform script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations Build automated deployments for consistent software releases with zero downtime (through build process, packaging, testing and automatic deployment) Deploy new modules, upgrades and fixes to the development as well production environment Provide monitoring dashboard and maintain critical alarms on system Evaluate existing applications and platforms and provides recommendations for improving performance by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications Participate in the development of contingency plans including reliable backup and restore procedures Demonstrate technical leadership with incident handling and troubleshooting Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members Mandatory to possess clear communication skills, outspoken, sharp business focus, collaborative nature.
