Job Description

Gurucul is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps professional to join our team. The DevOps responsibilities include setting up CI/CD process, recommending and implementing the toolset to automate the process. To be successful as a DevOps Lead, you should have a firm grasp of CI/CD practices and the ability to effectively manage and mentor development teams. An outstanding DevOps Lead should have excellent interpersonal problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Building and setting up new development and CI/CD tools and infrastructure Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Ensuring that CI/CD tools and product built using those tools, both are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats. Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended. Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure Monitoring and troubleshooting the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage. Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline) Mentoring and guiding the team members Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer Excellent troubleshooting Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles Own the smooth working of the CI/CD pipeline throughout the build process. Hands on to fix anything required to make the pipeline function well for regular releases. Branch creation, merge etc.
