DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions on AWS. You will work closely with developers and senior DevOps engineers to build scalable, secure, and highly available environments for modern applications.

Key Responsibilities

Automate provisioning of AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation

Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools

Deploy and manage containerized services using ECS, EKS, or Fargate

Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK

Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning

Write scripts (Python, Bash, or Node.js) to automate operational workflows

Maintain IAM roles, security groups, and other cloud security configurations

Participate in cost optimization and cloud governance efforts

Required Skills

Good understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, ECS)

Familiarity with Linux-based environments

Experience with at least one IaC tool (CDK preferred, or Terraform/CloudFormation)

Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Basic knowledge of Docker and container deployment

Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or Node.js

Understanding of monitoring, metrics, and log analysis

Preferred Skills

Exposure to serverless architecture and event-driven systems

Experience with Terraform modules or reusable CDK constructs

Familiarity with ALBLB, r/Noute53, and ACM in AWS

Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, SSL/TLS, NAT, etc.)

AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification is a plus
