We deliver innovative and tailored technology solutions to our clients. We are currently looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Kerala for the night shift. Job Description As a DevOps Engineer at Diffrenz Business Solutions, you will play a crucial role in automating, monitoring, and improving our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure environments primarily on Ubuntu-based systems. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Environment Management · Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu) for development, testing, and production environments. · Configure and monitor system performance, security, and availability. · Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows. Containerization & Deployment · Build and manage Docker containers for applications and services. · Develop and maintain Dockerfiles and Docker Compose configurations. · Ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines using appropriate tools and scripts. Monitoring & Troubleshooting · Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems. · Diagnose and resolve performance issues, application crashes, and deployment failures. · Ensure systems are running smoothly during off-hours (night shift coverage). Security & Best Practices · Apply system updates and security patches regularly. · Implement firewalls, secure networking protocols, and access control. · Enforce DevOps best practices in version control, automation, and documentation. Collaboration · Coordinate with developers, QA, and operations teams. · Participate in root cause analysis and post-mortems of incidents. · Document infrastructure and deployment processes. Requirements · Any Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field. · Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in DevOps or system administration. · Strong hands-on experience with Ubuntu server management. · Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration. · Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. · Knowledge of shell scripting, Python or Bash. · Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. · Strong understanding of networking and system security principles. · Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night hours.
