DevOps Engineer

• The role is for a DevOps Engineer
  with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team.
• The ideal candidate will have 5 to 9 years of experience and be responsible for deploying and managing containerized applications, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and cloud platforms will be pivotal in driving our technology initiative forward.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distribution systems using Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of microservices architecture.
• Containerize Applications: Work with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and ensure smooth deployment.
• Ensure Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for security in containerized environments and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Analyze user requirements and define technical project scope and assumptions for
assigned tasks.

Create business and/or technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to
existing systems.

• Proven experience with Kubernetes (including cluster setup, management, and troubleshooting).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and their Kubernetes services.
• Experience in data streaming - Kafka, stream analytics, Kubernetes

Skill set -

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Expert in data streaming - Kafka, stream analytics, Kubernetes
• Kubernetes: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components.
• Docker: Ability to create and manage Docker images and containers.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of GIT
• Proven skills to coordinate with various teams
• Excellent Communication Skills
