DevOps Engineer

Your Impact

As an Azure Cloud & DevOps Lead/Architect, you will drive the design, implementation, and governance of large-scale, high-performance eCommerce platforms on Azure. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, oversee mission-critical infrastructure, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-native solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to shape the organization’s cloud and DevOps strategy.

Your Role Will Include:

1. Leading the implementation, optimization, and governance of Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
2. Designing scalable, reliable, and high-performing eCommerce solutions.
3. Providing hands-on expertise with Kafka, in-memory databases, Aerospike, MongoDB Atlas, Kubernetes (K8s), and Akamai.
4. Ensuring compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
5. Managing and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
6. Driving governance initiatives, including policy development, enforcement, and compliance monitoring.
7. Overseeing release management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
8. Leading agile/scrum ceremonies and ensuring effective adoption of agile practices.
9. Building/adapting tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to manage infrastructure autonomously.
10. Defining and executing the long-term cloud & DevOps strategy for the organization.
11. Handling critical incidents (P0 issues) with a strong ownership mindset, including night/weekend support.
12. Documenting solutions, presenting strategies, and leading discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Acting as a hands-on engineer when required, ensuring frameworks and infrastructure are scalable and robust.
14. Implementing DR strategies and ensuring high availability, elasticity, and observability of platforms.

What You Bring:

1. Azure Certified Solutions Architect

   (mandatory).

2. 10+ years

   in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and software development, with

   leading teams

   .
3. Proven experience on

   large-scale eCommerce projects

   .
4. Hands-on expertise with

   Kafka, Aerospike, MongoDB Atlas, Kubernetes (K8s), Akamai, and in-memory databases

   .
5. Strong proficiency in

   Linux and Python scripting

   .
6. Expertise in

   CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation

   .
7. Knowledge of

   infrastructure as code (IaC)

   tools (Terraform, ARM templates).
8. Experience implementing

   Disaster Recovery (DR)

   and

   monitoring/observability tools

   (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
9. Strong understanding of

   cloud security best practices

   .
10. Excellent

    leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

    to manage large teams and cross-functional collaboration.

11. Bachelor’s and master's degree in engineering

    or related field.
