Immerse yourself in the design, development, modification, debugging and maintenance of our clients software systems! Engage with specific modules, applications or technologies, and look after sophisticated assignments during the software development process. What will your job look like? You will need to understand the customer, market, and how the product/service-wide vision and strategy will succeed. To ensure that resources and capabilities are consistent with the product/service-wide vision, and that business metrics are embodied in the design. You will use your cross-team perspective and hold team members accountable for a complete technical design. Develop lasting, innovative architecture that satisfies business and customer requirements You will produce simple, elegant code, and resolves the most difficult problems in the product. You will lead key processes, prioritize work across teams, and rebalances priorities to respond to changes. Structure the group in a way that is best-suited to the product/service design and maximizes efficiency, promote a culture in which team members are willing to adopt Amdocs standard and other technologies when advantageous. You will use the product/service regularly to understand it thoroughly and discover ways to improve it. You will lead the continuous improvement of engineering and quality practices; Work across business groups to ensure the long-term integrity of a product. You will set the priorities and devises and leads highly complex programs across multiple organizations, based on strategic intent and change-management considerations. You will define a portfolio of systems and tools that drive innovation, build strategies for quality management and create links across multiple products. Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain server environments, including hardware, operating systems, and software. Automation : Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors. CI/CD Pipelines : Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software releases. Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Regularly monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to maintain system integrity. Security : Implement security measures to protect data from cyberattacks and unauthorized access. Collaboration : Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are efficiently built and deployed. Testing and Updates : Test system changes before implementation and keep systems and software up to date with the latest patches. Documentation : Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps. All you need is... Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement DevOps practices that streamline software delivery and infrastructure management. Build, maintain, and scale automated deployment pipelines for various applications, ensuring efficient and error-free code deployments. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security in both production and development environments. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, implementing proactive measures to prevent future occurrences. Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes) for seamless application deployment and scaling. Work closely with development teams to integrate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and facilitate automated testing. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps, bringing new ideas to the team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely incident response and resolution. Critical Experiences: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell,Python, Bash, or Ruby. Strong experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (eg, Prometheus, ELK stack). Willing to work in shifts and weekend support model. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
