DevOps Engineer (4-5 Years)

Sr. DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to manage and optimize the infrastructure of a

high-traffic e-commerce platform hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in

cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security best practices. You will

collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure a seamless and scalable

platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using best practices.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the e-commerce platform.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications (Docker, EKS).

• Optimize costs and performance of AWS services.

• Implement security controls and compliance policies (IAM, VPC, WAF, etc.).

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline DevOps workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.

• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack,

CloudWatch).

• Strong understanding of security best practices in AWS.

• Experience in handling incident management and disaster recovery.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and their scaling challenges.

• Knowledge of serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).

• Familiarity with database management (RDS, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
