Developer Support and Integration Engineer

Role

This role is designed to help improve the support experience for our API customers. We see it helping to provide greater technical capability closer to our customer support teams as we grow our business and appeal to larger companies that need help integrating our API into their business workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support to Product Support and UK Solutions teams for the Connect API Product
• Coaching Product Support and UK Solutions team members on how best to troubleshoot technical queries
• Managing customer expectations and ensure key SLAs are met
• Become a product expert on our Connect API Product, building the knowledge to answer most queries raised by internal or external users
• Develop documentation that provides useful troubleshooting and support information (such as FAQs and How-To’s)
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice within the department
• Deliver software solutions to automate the manual tasks involved in supporting customers
• Maintain relationships with API development teams, to stay abreast of API development work and utilise these relationships to aid the resolution of complicated queries
• Work with Creditsafe's Technical Writer to help improve the customer facing API help documentation in response to customer queries

Experience

· A track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues in live production environments and implementing strategies to eliminate them

• Experience in a technical operations support role
• Knowledge of AWS Cloudwatch/X-Ray – Analysis of dashboards, metrics, traces and log analytics
• Proficient in the usage of Postman or similar REST clients
• Fluency in one or more high-level programming language such as Python, Node, C#
• Experience of using CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps
• Experience of using repositories such as GIT
• Experience integrating with RESTful API's
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
