Job Description

We are looking for a Despatch Executive to manage the efficient dispatch of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining accuracy in documentation and coordination with logistics partners. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or supply chain operations. Role & responsibilities Plan and oversee the dispatch process to ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain and update dispatch records, invoices, and shipping documents. Track shipments and communicate the status with internal teams and customers. Ensure compliance with company policies related to transportation and logistics. Handle transportation issues such as delays, damages, or lost shipments and resolve them effectively. Work closely with vendors, transporters, and courier services to optimize dispatch processes. Ensure proper packaging and labelling of consignments before dispatch. Maintain stock levels and coordinate reordering as required. Assist in preparing MIS reports related to dispatch and logistics. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of logistics and dispatch management. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations is an advantage. Experience in a manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce environment. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Tally, or any dispatch management software.
