Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. End-User Support

  • Provide on-site / remote support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, basic Mac/Linux issues.
  • Resolve issues related to MS Office, email configurations (Outlook/Thunderbird), and standard applications.
  • Assist users with login issues, profile problems, and printer connectivity.

2. Hardware & Software Management

  • Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboards, peripherals).
  • Install and update software applications as per company guidelines.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and health checks.

3. Network & Access Support

  • Basic troubleshooting of network issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP conflicts, cable/fiber issues).
  • Ensure proper connectivity to domain, VPN, shared drives, and printers.
  • Support in configuring network printers and scanners.

4. IT Asset & Documentation

  • Maintain IT inventory: desktops, laptops, accessories, licensed software, printers.
  • Record incidents, resolutions, and updates in the ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira/ManageEngine).
  • Assist in new joiner onboarding: system setup, ID creation coordination, email setup.

5. Security & Compliance

  • Ensure antivirus and patches are updated on all systems.
  • Follow IT policies, security guidelines, and compliance processes.
  • Report any security incidents or unauthorized access attempts.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory (password reset, account unlock).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems & remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer).
  • Understanding of LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS fundamentals (basic level).
  • Good communication & customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priority tickets.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Diploma (BSc IT, BCA, BE, Diploma in Hardware & Networking).
  • Industry certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, N+, MCP, or equivalent).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,310.96 - ₹27,998.40 per month
