Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:

The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, software, and networks. The role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT assets to minimize downtime and maintain high productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business applications.
• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly.
• Ensure antivirus, patches, and security updates are deployed and up-to-date.
• Support LAN/WAN connectivity and assist in basic network troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs and hardware replacements.
• Maintain IT inventory, including asset tagging and documentation.
• Assist in onboarding/offboarding employees, ensuring proper IT setup and recovery.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or IT infrastructure team.
• Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
