Designer, Extra Low Voltage Systems (ELV)

Job Description

Preparation of all ELV (FMCS, SECURITY, FIRE ALARM, LSS, Structured cabling and other ELV system Architecture, layouts and installation drawings Design of Extra-Low Voltage system Drawings like System Architecture, Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&IDs) and layouts; Design of Instrument location plans, Control room layout, Rack elevation, Rack layouts, cable support system routings under the guidance of the Instrumentation and Control Engineer; Prepare instrument schedule and lists such as Document index, Instrument Index, Control system Input /Output List, Cable schedule, Interconnection wiring drawings, Termination drawings, Junction box schedule, Instrument Hook-up drawings; Assist the Instrumentation and Control Engineer for Material Take off; Verify and collect inputs from site for finalizing the above drawings. Other Duties Coordinate with other discipline CAD designers for space management of Instrument panels and Extra-Low Voltage equipment; Co-ordination with Instrument Supervisors and Engineers for verifying field cable, hook-up details, etc. for As built drawing generation; Generation and maintaining the Instrument Drawing list for the project; Compilation of Operation and Maintenance of Dossier for Projects; Ad hoc duties as determined by management.
