Job Description

You will be working as a Designer/Drafter in the Engineered-to-Order (ETO) team at the Engineering Technology Centre in India. Your main responsibilities will include processing customer orders for new and special mechanical equipment and systems. You will be accountable for creating Bills of Material, solid models, drawings, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for various projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Independently handling design assignments ranging from simple to complex using design standards, tools, product knowledge, and creativity. - Designing and developing mechanical part and assembly models using SolidWorks 3D software. - Creating product design layouts, engineering drawings, Bills of Materials, and ECN documentation. - Collaborating with Application Engineers, Operations, and Sales to meet customer requirements. - Supporting the selection of appropriate materials and components based on project needs. - Leading product design and engineering efforts for assigned projects. The qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in design and development. - Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ASME Y14.5, GD&T principles, and tolerance stack-up. - Experience in concept development, Continuous Design Improvement, and PLM systems. - Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a global environment. Desired skills include: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Proactive individual with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. - Strong teamwork and enthusiasm for learning. With a minimum of 3-5 years of experience post-graduation in the engineering field, you are well-suited for this role.,
