Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Specialist – HVAC at The BIM Engineers, located in Gurugram, India. The Design Specialist will be responsible for creating detailed HVAC designs, developing technical drawings and layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams. The position also involves conducting project reviews, resolving design challenges, optimizing HVAC systems for energy efficiency, and ensuring timely project completion. Collaboration with clients and internal teams will be essential in delivering high-quality outcomes for complex design projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HVAC System Design, Load Calculations, and Equipment Selection
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices for HVAC systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while adhering to deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications in HVAC or BIM are advantageous
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC projects within the AEC industry is preferred
