Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Design Manager role located in Jaipur. The Design Manager will lead and oversee the design and engineering of solar PV systems for commercial and utility-scale projects. Responsibilities include coordinating the design process, reviewing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing a team of designers and engineers, and collaborating with other departments to align designs with client energy goals. The role also involves performance optimization through advanced modeling software and providing support for permitting and approvals.

Qualifications

• Proficient in solar system design tools such as AutoCAD, sketchup, and PVsyst
• Strong background in system engineering, including electrical schematics, electrical layouts, and shading analysis
• Experience with code compliance, including NEC standards, fire safety, building codes, and utility interconnection guidelines
• Team management skills to lead designers and engineers effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize system performance for maximum efficiency and long-term value
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced certifications in solar energy design or engineering are a plus
• Min 4 years Experience in the solar energy industry, especially in managing commercial and utility-scale projects
