Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will be responsible for project delivery, design management, and project management, focusing on positioning and winning projects across various services. Your role will involve collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for planning, developing, delivering, and operating projects. You will review and check effort-hours estimation and process deliverables for proposal preparation, conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed engineering. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of process design deliverables, define clear interfaces between disciplines, and participate in technical discussions with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Review and check effort-hours estimation and process deliverables for proposal preparation - Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed engineering - Ensure the accuracy of process design deliverables - Define clear interfaces between disciplines - Capture all inputs required for process design accurately - Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders to develop process schemes - Lead technical and safety reviews such as HAZOP/SIL - Monitor the status of process engineering deliverables to meet schedule due dates - Ensure the technical quality of all process deliverables issued - Assist in planning pre-commissioning and commissioning, startup activities - Experience in utility system process design including Instrument Air, Boiler, Fuel Gas, DI water, Cooling Tower, HVAC, Chilled water, Low-temperature refrigeration, Hot oil system, Wastewater treatment, Chemical storage and delivery systems, and Chemical Dosing Systems Qualifications Required: - BE Chemical with 12-18 years of experience in Design Engineering - Experience in a design consulting organization working in Industrial Projects - Good understanding of facility design and/or operation - Experience in Specialty Gases, Specialty Chemicals, Semiconductor, Solar Photovoltaic, Electric Battery, or Pharmaceuticals sectors Additional Company Details: At Jacobs, a culture of caring is promoted, where inclusivity, mental health support, and global connectivity are emphasized.
