Our established consulting firm requires talented design engineers to join our team of consultants. Your role will include the following: Producing and Document Design Calculations Developing Technical Specifications, Supervise and do quality checks (QA) of CAD Documentation produced from your design sketches / instructions Sign off on design calculations using a Producer Statement certification form Peer Review Design Audits Project Technical Support We are looking for engineers to be based in Hyderabad, India Applicants must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. Applicants should preferably hold chartered professional engineer status, in the area of design work, with the relevant India Institute or International equivalent. You will ideally have at least 7 years of professional engineering design experience, the most recent five years of which should ideally have been with a building services consulting firm. It is essential that you have carried out detailed design calculations of major projects Applicants must have large scale project design experience in MEP Engineering, particularly in HVACR Engineering including Chilled Water Systems Design. Proficiency with the use of heat load calculation tools such as Carrier HAP, Trane Trace would be an advantage OR Electrical LV / HV Power Engineering including LV reticulation design, maximum demand calculations, short circuit calculations, fault protection calculations, lighting design calculations using Relux / Dialux, Solar PV calculations. HV calculation ability not essential but would be an advantage. You must have very good oral and written communication skills and be fully fluent in English. The candidate should have access to high speed internet for the purposes of large document transfers.
