Design Engineer Plastic Trims Location: Pune Exp: 8+ Yrs JD: Skilled in the design and development of trim body parts (front cover, side cover, helmet box, glove box, mudguard, seat base & assembly) for two-wheeled vehicles > Understanding vehicle layout and designing body parts on vehicle layout. >Feasibility study of styling aspects of trim parts (checking interfaces, joints, tool orientation, master section, draft analysis, etc.) >Understanding plastic materials used in two-wheeler parts > 3D CAD modeling and iteration of engineering aspects such as packaging of other vehicle parts. >Release engineering drawing > DFMEA, DVP, and test adjustments > Interaction with Development Team / Suppliers for Mfg. Feasibility , packaging / tooling feasibility study. >Incorporating changes suggested in DFM, CAE, DMU feedback, service & moldflow simulation, etc. > Benchmarking studies of competitive vehicles and systems for packaging, performance, assembly, etc. >Knowledge of 2D drawings, GD&T, design release, team center. > Innovative solutions and VAVE idea generation. > Ensure seamless integration and manufacturability of these components within the overall vehicle package > Prepare DVP and ensure all performance passes
