Design and R&D Engineer

We, Flammer Technologies Pvt Ltd., are a fast growing startup organization which innovative critical life-saving process safety products called rupture discs, flame arresters, safety valves with more than 600 large clients within a very short span of 6 years. Job Overview: The Design and R&D Engineer will be responsible for developing new products models, as well as improving and optimizing existing products. The successful candidate will be expected to use Solidworks and other design software to create 3D models and drawings, perform simulations and analysis, and work with the production team to ensure that the product meets all necessary quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new product models using SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
• Improve and optimize existing products to enhance performance, reduce costs, and address customer-specific requirements.
• Conduct simulations, FEA, and design analyses to validate design performance and identify potential issues early.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet required quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Prepare and maintain complete technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, BOMs, and testing procedures.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for improvements and innovations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and advancements, especially in rupture disc and pressure safety technologies.
• Support in achieving new certifications such as PED, ATEX, CE, and other regulatory/industry approvals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Solidworks, Rendering and other design software.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to rupture discs and safety products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and testing procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
