Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical systems, equipment selections, specifications and other related processes for Residential & commercial projects. Conceptual planning of Electrical infrastructure. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (BIS,IEC,NBC) Calculations such as Electrical Load calculations, Transformers & DG sizing, Rising main, Cable selection calculation. Illumination design for buildings, Earthing & Lightning Protection and UPS etc in line with latest Indian and international codes & standards. Preparation of detailed Single Line Diagrams for LV & MV systems. Preparation of General arrangement of Substation, Cabling, Lighting, Power, Cable Tray, Earthing, & Lightning Protection Layouts, Preparation of Cable schedule Prepare detailed technical construction drawings, calculations, specifications for electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards, codes and customer requirements using computer-assisted engineering or design software/ tools. (AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks) Perform detailed calculations and prepare relevant technical specifications, sequence of operations and details for the project as per requirements and existing conditions. Adhere to Quality Management procedures & safety standards of the company Review design concept, calculations, drawings to the accuracy of design intent, Code Compliance and customer requirements. Review Engineering submittals, shop drawings and various construction administration procedures to provide quick turnaround during project's construction phase. Develop training modules, calculation procedures and other company tool development methods used in Design & Execution. Coordinate with project managers and vendors to ensure on time delivery of projects as per schedule and requirements. Develop cost estimation & Bill of materials as per design concept and progressive work planning and labour/Manpower scheduling for each activity. Electrical component selection & sizing Preferred candidate profile Diploma/BE in Electrical Experience minimum 5 to 6 Years of experience Strong in AutoCAD Must have a worked with Building Services.
