Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer specializing in PnR Low-power flows with 7+ years of experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Supporting Multi-Voltage Place and Route workflows for designs at 6nm, 3nm, and 2nm technology nodes. - Developing and supporting customized solutions using TCL/PERL scripts to overcome tool defects or limitations with respect to Multi-voltage PNR implementation. - Qualifying tool versions and deploying new features into the workflow. - Updating current workflows to incorporate new capabilities as needed. - Conducting CAD PNR low-power flow regression. - Demonstrating proficiency with Synopsys Fusion-Compiler or ICC2. - Utilizing strong scripting language skills in PERL and TCL, along with robust debugging abilities. - Executing tasks related to synthesis, PnR, VSI, FM, and Calibre workflows. - Applying expertise in using physical verification tools. - Demonstrating excellent communication skills. Key Requirements: - AMD experience is a MUST. - Solid understanding of low power flows including UPF concepts, power-gating, isolation, level-shifter, voltage_areas, power-state tables, and electrical checks using FM & VSI. - Skilled in employing scripting languages like PERL and TCL. - Experienced in synthesis, PnR, VSI, FM, and Calibre workflows. - Proficiency in using physical verification tools. - Excellent communication skills.
