Design Engineer

Job Description

Position Overview: Mechanical and Structural design for Heavy machineries/Construction equipment in concept design to 3D Modeling & manufacturing drawings creations. Responsible for creating, developing, and refining product designs and engineering solutions. Plays a crucial role in transforming conceptual ideas into tangible products by applying their technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The Design Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure that products meet quality, functionality, and performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD, ideally Solidworks or Creo/Pro-Engineer/inventor and familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems. Understanding of casting or machining manufacturing process Understanding of mechanical elements like bearings, gears.. Sound knowledge of GD&T Understanding of international standard (ISO, BS, EN, etc.) Required Education & Experience: Graduate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college. Post Graduate qualification would be an added advantage. 3 to 6 years of relevant experience Creativity and innovative thinking. Experience with ERP systems. Good English communication skill, both written and spoken Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
