Core ResponsibilitiesCoordinate design activities between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout project lifecycle
Review and distribute design documents, drawings, and specifications
Organize and maintain project documentation and design files
Schedule and facilitate design meetings, taking and distributing minutes
Track design milestones and deadlines to ensure project stays on schedule
Identify and help resolve design conflicts or coordination issues
Process design change requests and maintain change logs
Technical DutiesReview drawings for compliance with project requirements and standards
Coordinate building information modeling (BIM) processes
Assist with material and finish selections
Prepare design presentation materials
Track and manage submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product information
Maintain updated specifications and technical data
Administrative FunctionsManage design-related correspondence
Maintain design budget tracking and reporting
Create and update project schedules related to design activities
Process invoices related to design services
Support quality control processes
Prepare progress reports for stakeholders
Required SkillsStrong organizational and time management abilities
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with design and project management software
Understanding of construction documents and processes
Problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
