Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design and Estimation Engineer (Interior) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing interior design layouts, conducting site assessments, generating BOQs, cost estimates, and working closely with the design and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Design Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed interior design drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software.
• Develop space planning and layout solutions based on client requirements and building constraints.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients to finalize design intent.
• Select materials, finishes, and interior elements suitable to the design concept and project budget.
• Conduct site visits for accurate measurements and as-built drawing preparation.

Estimation Responsibilities:

• Analyze design drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Coordinate with procurement for pricing materials and subcontractor quotations.
• Evaluate value engineering options to optimize project cost without compromising quality or design.
• Monitor and update cost estimates based on design changes or market fluctuations.
• Assist in tendering and bidding processes with accurate pricing and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in interior design and estimation within the fit-out or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
• Knowledge of materials, interior design trends, and construction techniques.
