The Manager of Finance Operations oversees the day-to-day financial activities and operations of the company. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with proven experience in managing finance teams and optimizing financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations Management: Oversee the daily financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with various departments to gather and analyze data. Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports on variances and financial performance against budgeted targets. Support the development of financial models and projections to guide strategic decision-making. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements in financial reporting. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Develop and maintain documentation for financial processes and procedures. Utilize financial software and tools to streamline operations and improve reporting capabilities. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members. Ensure the teams adherence to financial policies and procedures. Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Identify and manage financial risks, implementing controls and mitigation strategies as needed. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards that may impact the company. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for financial queries from internal and external stakeholders. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial operations with overall business objectives. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant Post Qualification Minimum of [8-15] years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least [3-6] years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in managing financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating staff. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
