Job Description

RAIN is seeking an Deputy Manager /Manager-Controller -Reporting Department to join its Global Shared Services Department.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Key user activities for the SAP CO, PS/IM modules: contact person for representatives of all locations, system support incl. customizing, further development/continuous optimization
  • Trouble shoot technical issues and collaborate with IT and Finance teams
  • Key participation in implementation and upgrades of S/4 Hana
    • Subject Matter Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA CO-PA module, including both costing-based and account-based profitability analysis
    • Business Understanding: It's crucial to understand the overall business model of Rain Group. This includes performing fit-to-template analysis and integration tests with local CO key users and IT
    • Technical Skills: Familiarity with creating custom characteristics in Margin Analysis and understanding the current margin report methodology to generate reports from SAP.
    • Project Management: Ability to work with project teams and local end-users to address specific needs during preparation and kick-off phases which requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure smooth implementation and operation of the CO-PA module (Fluent English to deal with Global teams)
  • Activities as SAP CO key user at CDAM level
  • Creation of Secondary GL codes and maintaining the required groups
  • Creation/Modifying of cost center/profit center
  • Creation/Modifying/Execution of Assessment /Distribution/COPA cycles (Plan/Actual)
  • Creation/Modifying of statistical key figures
  • Creating accounting/costing view in the material masters
  • Creation of Internal orders
  • Creation and modification of Planning template to SAP.
  • Tariff calculations for DMC and release of standard cost with detailed analysis on variances compared with previous month
  • Co-ordination with production planner and settlement of monthly orders.
  • Review and correction of functional areas
  • Creation of reports in the report painter.
  • COPA to FI reconciliation
  • Project System maintenance
  • Investment management (WBS Creation and allocation of budget)
  • Support in product cost.
  • Understanding the cost components.
  • In decision making
  • Impact due to changes of recipes
  • Support and validation in Cost savings initiatives
  • Standardization and digitalization of process in SAP across CDAM entities.
  • Review of RFI for Germany with respect to cost/payback calculations and key user of RFI automation in Microsoft workflow tool.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision making.
  • Support and advice for the assigned department (also internationally) including on-site support if required
  • Support in planning processes: Budget, Rolling Forecast and upload in SAP
  • Monitoring and reporting of CDAM Capex monthly to the capex committee.
  • Analysis of business processes for the continuous improvement of procedures and tools
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of key performance indicators for efficiency measurement and comparability
  • Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and handle adhoc requirements from financial audits.
  • Providing support in financial analysis for any adhoc projects and also implementation of any new entity setup in SAP

Requirements profile:

  • Experience with SAP (CO, FI, PS, IM, MM, PP, SD)
  • Knowledge in SAP CO and PS configuration.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Macros and financial reporting tools
  • Good understanding of manufacturing process.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of English

Soft Skills

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills with ability to handle multiple assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualified Cost and Management Accountant(ICWA)
