Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager - LAP located in Chennai. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for managing loan against property (LAP) portfolios, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and developing business strategies to meet targets. Day-to-day tasks include assessing creditworthiness of applicants, processing loan applications, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing loan documentation, and ensuring timely disbursals. The role also involves customer relationship management and handling any loan-related issues or queries.

Qualifications

• Experience in loan management, credit assessment, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial sector
• Strong customer relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
• Experience in the rural and semi-urban financial sector is preferred
