Position Title: Deputy Manager- Human Resources Organization : Bengaluru Airport Services Limited Location : Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru Reporting To : Head- HR Job Summary: The Deputy Manager HR will play a pivotal role in driving HR functions at BASL, ensuring seamless HR operations, fostering a positive work environment, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role will oversee HR operations, employee relations, talent development, administration, recruitment, and other key HR functions to enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Purpose of the Role: To implement and manage HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support BASLs operational excellence, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a high-performance culture, and enhancing employee satisfaction. The role also involves coordinating HR activities across multiple units in India, requiring occasional travel. Key Responsibilities: HR Operations & Compliance: Manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices. Maintain HR documentation, reports, and employee records in compliance with regulations. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling: Act as a trusted HR partner, addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances promptly and effectively to maintain a harmonious work environment. Talent Development & Retention : Drive talent development programs, succession planning, and retention strategies to nurture employee growth and minimize attrition. Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate experience and timely hiring of top talent. Exit Management & Employee Engagement: Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and develop action plans to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover. Team Building & Culture Development: Organize engagement activities, team-building programs, and HR initiatives that foster collaboration, motivation, and a strong organizational culture. HR Data & Analytics : Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess workforce trends, identify gaps, and propose data-driven HR solutions. Administration & Policy Implementation : Oversee HR administration, including payroll coordination, attendance management, and benefits administration. Implement HR policies and best practices across units. Multi-Location HR Support: Travel to other BASL units across India as needed to support HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with department heads and leadership teams to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive organizational success. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in HR, preferably in hospitality or aviation sectors. Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple HR functions efficiently. Willingness to Travel: Open to traveling across India for HR-related activities.
