As an
Accounts Payable Deputy Manager
, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our end-to-end Accounts Payable processes. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster collaboration across global teams, and enable continuous improvement through automation and transformation initiatives. By optimizing processes and strengthening vendor relationships, you will contribute directly to financial integrity and business success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and Inspire: Support and mentor the Accounts Payable team (Shared Service Center & Service Partners) to achieve high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee invoice processing, payments, issue resolution, and reporting. Conduct operational reviews, predict outcomes, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory regulations. Facilitate audits with clear documentation and explanations.
- Analyze and Improve: Generate AP aging reports, perform reconciliations, and identify trends to propose process enhancements.
- Champion Technology: Deploy AP automation solutions and ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle), reducing manual processes and improving efficiency.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Resolve escalated inquiries professionally, maintain accurate records, and negotiate effectively.
- Lead Transformation Projects: Execute cleanup activities, system integration tests, and UAT to support continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 9+ years in Accounts Payable.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AP processes, tax compliance, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Core Skills: Analytical thinking, organizational excellence, and clear communication.
- Leadership Competencies: Ability to manage multiple priorities, mentor teams, and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
