Deputy Manager Accounts and Finance

1. SAP FICO - Automation & Process Improvement (Core Focus)

• Analyze existing accounting and reporting processes within

  SAP ECC

  and identify areas for automation or system enhancement.
• Work with internal IT and SAP consultants to design, test, and implement automation tools
• Develop and validate

  custom SAP reports

  for improved control and monitoring.
• Support implementation of digital tools such as

  Power BI or RPA

  for efficiency in finance operations.

2. Preparation of Financial Statements

• Perform

  monthly GL scrutiny

  and ensure proper classification of transactions.
• Assist in

  Accounts Finalization including planning, tracking, etc.

• Assist in preparation of Financial Statements

  , reconciliations and ensure correctness of trial balance.
• Identify and flag abnormal balances or inconsistencies for timely rectification.
• Support

  month-end and year-end closing activities

  , ensuring adherence to reporting timelines.

3. Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist in preparing audit schedules and addressing audit queries

4. IND AS Awareness (Supportive Role)

• Support in data collation and computation for

  Ind AS adjustments

• Coordinate for Ind AS-related disclosures and reconciliations.

• Qualification:

  Chartered Accountant (CA) – 5 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience:

• Exposure to

  SAP FI/CO

  module (hands-on preferred).
• Experience in

  manufacturing or process industry

  preferred.
• Basic understanding of

  Ind AS, financial reporting, and audit support

  .
• Keen interest in

  process automation, SAP enhancement, and digital finance tools

  .

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in

  SAP (FI/CO)

  – strong working knowledge of key transaction codes and reporting.
• Good command over

  MS Excel, Power Query, and Power BI

  .
• Understanding of

  GL accounting, reconciliations, and month-end processes

  .
