Deputy general manager - Controllership

Key Responsibilities:

● Prepare and review financial statements (including Consolidated Financials) in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND-AS, IFRS).

● Managing and liaising with Auditors (Internal/External) for audit closures, including schedule submissions and responding to audit queries.

● Handling and deriving Finance projects like accounting software improvements, automations, process control enhancement, etc.

● Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, including board presentations.

● Analysing financial data for trends, variances, and performance improvement opportunities.

● Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.

● Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

● Oversee account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.

● Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.

● Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies.

● Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the organization’s

compliance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

● 7+ years of experience in financial preparation, consolidation, reporting, accounting,

or auditing.

● In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IND-AS, IFRS, or GAAP).

● Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems (SAP).

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
