As a Deputy Branch Manager at Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company, your primary function is to enable the achievement of key business outcomes, build a quality Agency, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and drive the people agenda to achieve people outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the business plan for the branch, including top line and bottom line targets for the team - Internalize the company's management philosophy and business strategy, driving it within the branch - Engage, motivate, and ensure the productivity of the existing team of Agents through strong relationships - Constantly induct, activate, and ensure the productivity of new Agent Advisors - Drive incentive schemes to exceed income benchmarks for Agency managers and Agent Advisors - Recruit quality resources like Unit Managers - Set goals for all Agency Managers/Sr. Agency Managers in the region - Review, monitor, and mentor the Agency Managers regularly - Provide training to equip the team with necessary skill sets for optimal performance - Identify potential business opportunities in the branch jurisdiction - Appoint Agents in new locations to procure business - Own the resource and expense budget for the branch - Drive R&R schemes and design branch-level R&Rs and marketing activities - Support Unit Managers and Agents in liaison with the Home Office - Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and company guidelines - Maintain a win-win relationship with other channels **Key Measures of Performance:** - New GWP - Renewal GWP - Renewal number of cases - Active agents and PA - Desired product mix - Number of new Agents - Audit findings - Employee engagement - Attrition **Key Relationships:** - Internal: Agency Team & Cross Functional Teams - External: Agents & Policy Holders **Preferred Skill Set:** - Analytical Skills - Designing Sales Strategies - Domain Knowledge of health insurance policies in India - Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements - Leadership Attributes - Strong communication skills - Result orientation - Energetic and enthusiastic personality **Education:** - Graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institute At Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company, formerly known as Max Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited, we are a joint venture between Fettle Tone LLP and the Bupa Group.
