As a Departmental Coordinator in the Anesthesia department, your responsibilities will include: - Providing secretarial and administrative assistance to the Head of Department and Consultant Anesthetists, managing correspondence and daily tasks. - Organizing anesthesia schedules aligned with OT planning, ensuring availability for surgeries and pre-op assessments. - Maintaining anesthesia-related records including checklists, consent forms, and post-op notes with accuracy and compliance. - Coordinating with OT, surgical, nursing, biomedical, and stores teams to ensure seamless anesthesia service delivery. - Preparing duty rosters and managing leave calendars to ensure proper staffing. - Arranging meetings, documenting minutes, assisting with CMEs and quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety and accreditation standards. - Monitoring anesthesia equipment and supplies, providing coverage during staff absences, and supporting efficient resource use.
