Job Description

Job Purpose

As a key member of the DTS team, you will be working on client facing data analytics and business intelligence engagements in addition to proof-of-concept initiatives (POCs) for prospective clients. Your core responsibility will be to steer projects towards delivering impactful data analytics and dashboards. You will work with the clients closely to understand the business requirements, translate them into technical tasks and develop robust data analytics and BI solutions while ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Essential Skills

Desired Skills and Experience

6+ years of experience in development and deployment of high-performance, complex PowerBI dashboards
Experienced in writing complicated DAX queries and using Power Query transformation to arrive at the desired solution.
Advanced SQL skills and solid expertise in database design principles.
Exposure to agile methodology.
Experience as a scrum master
In-depth knowledge of data platforms like Snowflake, RDBMS systems and similar platforms.
Strong understanding of data models in business intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics tools.
Problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
Microsoft certifications in data-related fields are preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a business and financial aptitude.

Education:

Bachelors or master’s in science or engineering disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

Design and development of analytics solutions using Power BI.
Design intuitive and easy-to-use PowerBI dashboards from complex data sets with self-servicing features
Strategize and ideate the solution design, develop visual mockups, storyboards, flow diagrams, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the Scrum process
Ensuring the team can deliver high-quality products in a timely manner.
Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering Data Fabric architecture, processes, and procedures.
Incorporate feedback from clients and continuously improve models, dashboards, and processes.
