You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results. Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.
What are we looking for?
- Possesses a strong understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their applications within Marketing procurement. Ideally demonstrates practical experience in leveraging AI-driven tools, assets, and platforms (e.g. Market intelligence, supplier engagement, or spend analytics) to enhance efficiency, creativity, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
- Strong critical thinker, self-starter who can take initiative with high-level direction and deliver client work with minimal supervision.
- Passion for continuous self-learning within the Marketing Services category
- Proven analytical skills in terms of numeric (e.g. spreadsheets) and text based (e.g. reading terms and conditions) analysis, converting information into tangible recommendations to clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in consulting, sourcing/procurement/supply chain management function
- Minimum of 8+ years of strategic sourcing, category management, and/or professional industry experience related to at the following sub-category areas (preferably with North America and European markets)
- o Agency, Brand promotion o Experiential o Market Research o Media Buying o Production o Sales & Resources o Sponsorship/Licensing o Creative Services o Retail Marketing Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in spending across a wide array of leading companies and industries.
- Lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution, leveraging and Agile approach to drive efficiency in execution.
- Provide industry and supplier research, market intelligence and financial analyses to client.
- Support development of market insights from cross-client sourcing activity and collaborate with Marketing Practice advisors to develop content that enables knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts, support account stakeholder relationship plans.
- Lead Category Strategy development for specified clients to identify project opportunities that achieve client goals and mature their procurement function.
- Able to lead and Mentor sourcing team on industry best practices with a special emphasis on market trends and insights, commercial structure assessment, negotiation strategies and contracting ( act as Subject Matter Advisor)
- Engage with prospective clients during business development pursuits through support of contract assessments, client due diligence calls, and presenting the practice delivery approach and case studies.
- Oversees portfolios of accounts as a coach/mentor and held accountable for accounts’ performance.
- The resource should be able to manage the full End to End Sourcing process including managing and inputting into complex sourcing projects/negotiations with both legal, finance, and business stakeholder teams to ensure all commercials and key contractual/technical requirements are included in the contract.
- The resource should be able to take guidance from legal/technical/business teams and be able to meaningfully apply the information independently to ensure commercials and contracts are negotiated to mee all client deliverables and requirements.
- The resource must demonstrate strong experience in managing both global client stakeholders and global suppliers. Expectation that the majority of the resources experience would meet these requirements.
- Resource will be competent and experienced in people management including, but not limited to, mentoring, support, capacity planning, client engagement and end to end delivery., Any Graduation
