Job Description

Responsibilities Deliveries: Safely and promptly deliver packages, food, or products to customer locations. Route management: Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules. Loading and unloading: Load and unload items from a vehicle, handling them with care to prevent damage. Customer service: Interact with customers, answer questions, handle complaints, and ensure satisfaction with the delivery. Payments and records: Collect payments from customers when required and maintain accurate records of deliveries and transactions. Vehicle maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure it is in good working order. Safety and compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Reporting: Report any issues, such as traffic delays, accidents, or package discrepancies, to a supervisor. Qualifications and skills License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are typically required. Navigation: Basic navigation skills and familiarity with local areas are necessary for route planning. Customer service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset. Time management: Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines. Problem-solving: Ability to handle unexpected issues that may arise during deliveries. Physical fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks like lifting and carrying packages.
