Job Title: Site Engineer in Residential Architecture & Construction at Kerala Job Location: Kottayam, Kerala Language Required : Malayalam Employment Type: Full-time | On-site | Contractual Project Basis Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with strong experience in managing end-to-end construction site operations from structural work to finishing stages. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in site management, capable of coordinating with architects, leading site teams, ensuring quality execution, and handling procurement. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site activities from civil works to finishing stages. Interpret and work from architectural & structural drawings with complete accuracy. Coordinate closely with architects, designers, and the core project team for smooth execution. Supervise and guide site supervisors, mistries, and labour teams to ensure work is completed as per quality and timelines. Monitor quality of work and ensure adherence to safety standards and best construction practices. Assist the core team in material procurement, including vendor evaluation for workmanship, quality, and reliability. Maintain site records, work progress reports, and assist in project documentation. Anticipate site needs, plan resource allocation, and ensure timely procurement of required materials and tools. Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays. Coordinate with local authorities, vendors, and contractors as needed. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in end-to-end site execution with at least 2 completed projects under your direct supervision. Proven experience in residential construction projects (hilly area experience preferred). Strong ability to read and interpret architectural & structural drawings. Knowledge of civil, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work sequences. Good understanding of construction quality control and safety protocols. Strong leadership skills to manage on-site teams and contractors effectively. Ability to work independently and make site-level decisions. Basic proficiency in MS Office, WhatsApp documentation, and site reporting. Flexibility to travel and work at multiple project sites across India. Preferred Skills Experience in working on high-end residential projects. Familiarity with sustainable building practices and material sourcing. Ability to work under challenging site conditions (including hilly/mountain terrains). Compensation Competitive salary based on experience. Travel expenses will be covered for outstation projects.
