As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for leading vulnerability assessments and policy compliance scans in various environments including on-premises, cloud, containers, databases, and web platforms using tools such as Qualys. Your role will involve validating scan results, eliminating false positives, and delivering accurate reports to stakeholders. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert by analyzing findings, diagnosing root causes, and guiding remediation efforts. It is essential to develop and maintain a knowledge base to support continuous improvement and enhance team expertise. Stay updated on emerging threats, tools, and advancements in vulnerability management lifecycle to recommend service enhancements. Effective communication of security requirements across the organization and the ability to step in as an interim team lead when necessary are also key aspects of this role. With a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of information security and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent, you will be well-equipped to excel in this role. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Security are preferred. Your technical expertise should include proficiency in vulnerability scanning platforms like Qualys and Nessus, false-positive tuning, and compliance frameworks. Experience across cloud and on-premises systems, network devices, and infrastructure components is required. Skills in risk and threat assessment, security policy enforcement, and familiarity with containers, DDI, WAF, CDN, and DDOS solutions will be beneficial. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and experience with monitoring tools such as Spectrum, SevOne, ThousandEyes, CyberArk, and MS-Entra-ID would be advantageous. In addition to technical skills, soft skills and leadership qualities are essential for this role. Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing abilities are necessary. Demonstrated leadership capabilities including guiding teams, managing escalations, and fostering a security-conscious culture are important. Being an adaptable self-starter with a commitment to continuous learning and proactive problem-solving will contribute to your success in this role.,
