Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for programming in C/C++ on Unix/Linux systems, with a strong understanding of OS Concepts such as IPC Concepts, Multithreading, Multiprocessing, and Socket concepts. Additionally, you will need to have a basic understanding of Data networking concepts and Datacentre networking concepts, along with knowledge of protocols like BGP, BGP-EVPN, OSPF, ISIS, RIP, IPv4, and IPv6. Hands-on experience in developing or fixing defects in these protocols on Router/switch products will be required. Familiarity with SDN concepts like OVS, Openflow, SD-WAN, and MPLS, and IPSec is also necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Programming in C/C++ on Unix/Linux systems - Understanding and working with OS Concepts such as IPC Concepts, Multithreading, Multiprocessing, and Socket concepts - Knowledge of Data networking concepts and Datacentre networking concepts - Complete understanding of protocols like BGP, BGP-EVPN, OSPF, ISIS, RIP, IPv4, and IPv6 - Hands-on experience in developing or fixing defects in networking protocols - Familiarity with SDN concepts like OVS, Openflow, SD-WAN, and MPLS, and IPSec Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in programming languages C/C++ - Strong understanding of Unix/Linux systems - Knowledge of networking protocols BGP, BGP-EVPN, OSPF, ISIS, RIP, IPv4, and IPv6 - Hands-on experience in developing or fixing defects in networking protocols - Familiarity with SDN concepts like OVS, Openflow, SD-WAN, and MPLS, and IPSec Note: This job at Wipro Limited requires a candidate who is client-centric, results-driven, collaborative, adaptable, a problem solver, and an effective communicator.
