Databricks Lakehouse Enterprise Data Architect and Modeller

As an Enterprise Data Architect or Data Modelling Lead at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of data capabilities as part of the Enterprise Data Transformation program. Your responsibilities will include defining the vision and strategy for the data platform, executing the development of enterprise data models, mapping out existing data warehouses, enabling self-service capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and challenging the status quo to drive innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform to enable AI as a strategic enabler. - Rapidly design and develop data models in advanced cloud-based solutions like AWS Databricks platform. - Develop an enterprise-level data model that fits into the medallion architecture lakehouse platform for GenAI analytics needs. - Partner with business stakeholders and internal data solutions team to empower self-service capabilities. - Collaborate with IT and Business teams with a product mindset to ensure data models meet business needs and drive innovation. - Encourage innovation and continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and proposing new solutions. Qualifications Required: - 14+ years of IT-related work experience in Data and Analytics domain with a Bachelor's degree. - 7+ years of enterprise data modelling experience. - Strong functional knowledge across various corporate functions. - Hands-on technical understanding in building complex data models for analytics needs. - Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. - Ability to understand existing data solutions and strategize for migration to Databricks architecture. - Strong accountability and ownership in project delivery. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 12+ years of experience in data management, engineering, or science roles with at least 7 years in building enterprise-level data models. - Experience with lakehouse medallion data architecture and governance. - Proven implementation experience in migrating legacy DW data models. - Passion for exploring GenAI solutions and strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a global delivery model.
