Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced

Data Engineer

to join our team as an

Individual Contributor

. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines, working with large-scale data processing frameworks, and enabling advanced analytics. This role requires hands-on experience with

Spark

Python

ETL processes

SQL

, and at least

1 year of practical experience with Databricks

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable
data pipelines
and ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data.
Implement data solutions using
Apache Spark
and
Databricks
for big data processing.
Optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver high-quality datasets for reporting and insights.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments.
Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications.

Required Skills Qualifications:

5-7 years
of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in
Python
,
SQL
, and
ETL tools/processes
.
Hands-on experience with
Apache Spark
for distributed data processing.
Minimum
1 year of experience with Databricks
platform.
Solid understanding of
data modeling

data warehousing
, and
analytics concepts

Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.
