Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator at Mr. Cooper Group, your role is crucial in keeping the dream of homeownership alive by ensuring the smooth operation of our SQL environments. You will be responsible for providing 24 x 7 support, monitoring, maintenance, and administration of production, QA, and Dev SQL environments. Your expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above will be essential in maintaining the integrity and security of our databases. Key Responsibilities: - In-depth knowledge of SQL server architecture and database concepts - Strong experience in database backup and recovery - Hands-on management of database security - Proactive identification and resolution of live database systems issues - Configuration, implementation, and support of transactional replication and SQL clustering - Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices - Development and implementation of data models, database designs, and maintenance codes - Resolution of database performance and capacity issues Qualifications Required: - 3+ or 4+ years of DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above - Experience in managing database maintenance plan activities including backups, indexing, and integrity checks - Hands-on experience with T-SQL writing and query tuning - Strong communication and written skills Join us at Mr. Cooper Group and be a part of a team that is dedicated to making the dream of homeownership possible.,
