Job Description

We are seeking a Database Administrator with 4 to 6 years of experience in RDBMS administration and a strong background in relational database technologies. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced troubleshooting in collaboration with other teams and third- party vendors, focusing on query/schema optimizations and backend database fine-tuning. Take ownership of database and server management. Monitor database backups to ensure data integrity and availability. Handle Windows/SQL server patching and general database administration tasks. Engage in system administration tasks and continuous learning. Participate in the on-call rotations. Skills: Proven experience in database administration with RDBMS, preferably SQL/ PostgreSQL. Proficient in backup administration and recovery strategies. Hands-on experience with database monitoring and disaster recovery processes. Familiarity with Windows/SQL server patching is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration. Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with an innovative approach. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible/PowerShell. Familiarity with Docker/Containerization technologies. Experience with Gitlab CI/CD deployments. Good to have: Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Kafka, Clickhouse, Cassandra) is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
