Job Title: Data Scientist Contract Duration: 1 Year Location: Mumbai Experience Required: 3–7 Years Project Requirement We are seeking Junior Data Scientists with strong Python skills and experience in Jupyter Notebooks to support ongoing initiatives within the Teradata Data Lake/Lakehouse Platform . Responsibilities Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources for analysis. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms using Python and Jupyter Notebooks. Collaborate with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and propose data-driven solutions. Create clear data reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings. Continuously improve data quality and stay updated with the latest trends in data science. Document all procedures related to data handling and analysis. Support the implementation of on-premise AI/ML solutions. Learn and apply Explainable AI (XAI) techniques to improve model transparency. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 3–7 years of relevant experience in Data Science or Analytics. Strong proficiency in Python and Jupyter Notebooks. Familiarity with Teradata and data lake/lakehouse architectures. Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Exposure to on-premise AI/ML tools and solutions. Basic knowledge of Explainable AI concepts and practices.
